DEMILEC is the first Canadian manufacturer of Spray Polyurethane Foam to meet the requirements of the Montreal Protocol. Aside from having risen to the challenge before the deadline, DEMILEC has developed the expertise to embrace the ecological turn (the sustainable development approach) by introducing recycled plastics, renewable natural oils, and water, all while maintaining the high quality and performance of its foam systems.

DEMILEC is a well-known leader in research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of high quality spray polyurethane foam insulation. For the last 20 years, DEMILEC has been offering a wide range of innovative products to its customers in the construction, refrigeration, and transportation, as well as marine and various consumer products. Its head office, research centre, and Canadian product manufacturing are located in Boisbriand, Québec. A second plant dedicated to manufacturing with state of the art equipment can be found in Arlington, Texas. In 2003, DEMILEC was awarded the Performas Award during the 4th forum for the development of the Québec Chemical Industry. DEMILEC caters to its clientele through a wide distribution network that includes 20 establishments located throughout North America.
